Our home is an airy open plan house set in Lukenya in the Athi Kapiti Plains about 40 kilometers from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. It is in a peaceful neighborhood in the country where we wake up to birdsong. The air is fresh and the sunsets are stunning. My husband and I are parents to two young adults and one teenager. Our two older sons are away from home most of the year, whilst our youngest is home for about three months only. We have one bedroom presently available for guests and the family room, lounge, patio, veranda and study are also open to use. Our open plan kitchen has modern electrical appliances too. We would love to open our home to individuals who love the outdoors, quiet and enjoy good home cooking and baked treats. I love baking, cooking, reading the outdoors and playing golf, (the latter with my husband). Golf outings can be arranged at a nearby golf course at a fee. There is a medical clinic nearby and a hotel 500 meters away for those wishing to eat out. Airport transfers and a meet and greet service can be arranged. We speak English and Kiswahili and live on the property.
If you are lucky you will see antelopes, giraffe, zebra and wildebeest on your final stretch to our home.
